Luke Herbold is a senior game design student at UCSC who loves making and playing games. It all began when he was a young child. He was born with an eye problem, and had to get several operations to correct it. His dad, in an effort to train his son to better control his eyesight, bought him an NES to play every day. Not only did it help Luke's hand eye coordination, but it also sparked in him a life-long passion for games.
Today, Luke hopes to eventually become a lead game designer or story writer on a game development team. Until then, however, he plans to learn as much as he can about programming. Working on a game for the PS3 has really helped him toward this goal - the exciting and interesting challenge has been really stimulating. He strives to continue working hard on ZRay and can't wait to show off the finished product!
